Wales becomes 74th ISA member

Wales FlagCongratulations to Wales and The Welsh Surfing Federation who’ve been recognised by the International Surfing Association (ISA) as their 74th member.
“The Welsh Surfing Federation has achieved yet another of their goals and is to be recognised and represented as a surfing nation at world level, meaning greater opportunities for Welsh surfers to compete on the world stage, without restriction and to represent their country at the ISA World Surfing Championships across all disciplines. This year, is the 40th anniversary of the formation of the Welsh Surfing Federation and the news of their ISA membership, in conjunction with the progress made with the proposed state of the art Headquarters and Centre of Surfing Excellence, bodes well for an exciting future for surfing in Wales.” said WSF Secretary Stu Bentley.
“These are exciting times for Welsh Surfing in their 40th Anniversary year. This will not only be a year to celebrate Welsh surfing history, but also a  year to celebrate the future!”
